Jeans and shoes: From Greenhills tiangge

Aside from its color and vintage-inspired design, I really like how this shirt floats while strutting the streets. It adds shape and flare to the shirt. It actually looks better when paired with shorts or denim cut-offs but I'm on my way to work. It works well with long charm necklaces.

Next on My Wish List: Pink Coach Bags

My mom asked me for a Coach hobo bag as a gift. I'm not too crazy about their designs at first until I bought her 2 bags. I'm happy Coach was able to develop new styles for the younger genre. They now have sling bags, small totes in different pastels. Here's what I gave to my mom:

                                                              

They all look fresh and young. What I've admired is their craftsmanship and it's simplicity. It's worth every penny! Now I want one for myself.... in pink!

Head Turners

As I have attended this year's Pahiyas in Lucban, Quezon, I was determined to find some head pieces or hats for my ladies in waiting (aka bridesmaids). I know of only one which sells export quality handmade hats and that is the Lucban Hat Factory. I sent an email prior to that day asking if they will be there and gladly they confirmed. So a day before the celebration, I went off looking for their stall. I failed until the next day, I saw one of our neighbors running around the block wearing a familiar headband.I instantly knew where she got it. So off I walked through where that kid came from and finally found their stall. I didn't realize they were just 2 blocks away from our house! Thank goodness they just arrived! I even wore one that day as well. It really went well with the vintage inspired dress from Watchaddict. Anyway, here's what I got.

Brooch Face Off : For John Rey

John asked me to create a pin brooch bouquet as big as a palm of a hand. It was tricky since I need to make sure it won't be too heavy to ruin the form of the outfit. To give him options, i created 2 pieces. One with feathers (which I think would look great as a hair piece too) and the other one is quite smaller than the other.
